Team givezooks!

Dear Friends and Family,

On the surface, our wonderful community of Santa Barbara appears to be a modern day paradise. Just like many other American cities, however, Santa Barbara also has a serious substance abuse problem.

One local organization, the Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse (CADA), is building a safer, healthier community by preventing and treating alcoholism and drug abuse.

In an effort to raise money for this great organization, Team givezooks! will be venturing into the mountains high above Santa Barbara on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Eight of us will be dusting off our hiking boots and climbing to the summit of the San Ysidro Waterfall trail.

We are asking our friends and family to consider "sponsoring" our climb by making a donation to this great cause. All you need to do is click the giveNow button.

All donations will support the youth of the Daniel Bryant Center as they strive to reach their objective of conquering drug and alcohol abuse.
